My boyfriend decided to play with the threads in the pot (it is kind of fun, it's become like a little thread pie), so you can't really see what I've been doing this month. Some black and brown on top there from Eevee below. I'm going to need to move the threads somewhere else soon, the pot's getting a bit full!
Eevee was supposed to be a practice piece, but my boyfriend liked it, and so it's going to go to another of his brothers for his birthday.
Nice TUSAL, I seem to have given up posting mine. Eevee is so cute :) I love eevee!!
ReplyDeleteLovely TUSAL and eevee is so sweet!
ReplyDeletePOKEMON!!!!! She's very pretty too. LOL
ReplyDeleteWow! I just want to say that I *love* your new blog redesign, with the pretty lilac flower in the banner, and is that your hand-dyed lavender fabric I detect as the background? (I read down a little, lol, and am fabulously impressed with your dyeing effort - I've never done it, but have always wanted to try it!)
ReplyDeleteAnd a big "Congratulations!" on your new Etsy store! Your stitching is always marvelous, and I'm sure you'll do really well with it.
RE: TUSAL, your little turquoise stork scissors are so cute, and that's saying something, because I have a mortal fear of stork-shaped scissors (don't ask, LOL).
AND EEVEE IS ADORABLE!!! Really, she is. All those pretty pinks! And her GINORMOUS eyes and those pointy ears and floofy foxy tail :) I am in awe of the neatness of your short and long stitches, they look awesome! You've really got the needle-painting thing down pat. One of my fondest wishes is to learn how to do it right eventually ;)
Thank you for your lovely comment!
DeleteThe aida in the background isn't my own, but I might have to change that.
Oh, Eevee looks so cute and beautiful! How long did it take you to stitch it?
ReplyDeleteThanks! It only took a few hours. I finished it over three days.
DeleteEevee is adorable! Love your little pot of threads :D
