Introducing: Bobbin Along

For the past few years my dream has been to make a living with crafts in some way. Now my dream is becoming a reality. I am happy to announce that I will soon be opening my own online needlework shop.

The shop will be called Bobbin Along, and will stock all manners of alternative and independently produced needlework supplies. I've been working on this idea for some time now and I'm really excited to be able to share it with you!

I'm currently working on my business plan, part of which is customer research, and I hope that you, my dear readers, will help me with this. I have a short survey, it is only eight questions long and shouldn't take more than five minutes to fill in. This will help me to find out a bit more about my potential customers.

Be sure to enter your email address at the end of the survey to sign up to the Bobbin Along mailing list! Also, if you produce patterns, dye fabrics, threads or create anything that is used in needlework I'd love to hear from you, so please leave your name and e-mail address at the end of the survey, or contact me directly at eveningemma@gmail.com.

I really appreciate any time you can spend on my survey, and please answer it as honestly as possible, there's no wrong answers!

You can find the survey here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/3KFPVMM

I have started a blog for Bobbin Along, it's a bit bare at the moment but I will be updating it regularly with the shops progress. You can find it here:  http://bobbinalongshop.blogspot.co.uk/

There's also the Bobbin Along Twitter account, here: https://twitter.com/BobbinAlongShop

  2. Oh, and I meant to ask - are you going to carry embroidery patterns and supplies too, or just cross-stitch?!
