Rupture Farms Patch How To

Do you like my Rupture Farms patch? You might remember me posting about my trials with this patch a few times.

Oddworld Inhabitants, the creators of the Oddworld series liked it too and asked me to make a How To for their blog, so now everybody else can make it too!

Check it out here.

Rupture Farms badge second version

Here's the second version of the Rupture Farms badge. Looking much better now, don't you think?

I think this might be the definitive version. I might be making a few more of these for my stall at Retro Beurs Deurne as they are reasonable quick to stitch up. I'm also working on another Oddworld logo, so stick around for that, it'll be up in a day or two (hopefully!).

Sunday WIP

Similar to last Sunday's, here's the second version of the Rupture Farms logo. I'm liking this one a lot more. It's almost done, it just needs a red border round the black.

And a little more progress on the pattern I made.

I hope you're having a nice weekend!

Prototype Rupture Farms patch

As I mentioned in my post last Sunday, I have been working on a Rupture Farms stitch. The logo comes from the fictional meat processing plant in the Oddworld game Abe's Oddysee.

A large portion of the game takes place in Rupture Farms, where after making the local fauna extinct by processing them, they turn on their workforce to create a new product. In the game you play as Abe, one of the workers, and must attempt to save the other workers.

Here's how my prototype of the Rupture Farms badge looks.

I'm already working on the next version. It should look a lot cleaner and also be faster to stitch up, as I'm going to use more satin stitch.

Sunday WIPs

I don't have any crafty stuff finished to share with you today, so I thought I'd show you my two little WIPs I've got going at the moment.

The first is the Rupture Farms logo from the Oddworld series of games. It's very small, I'm stitching it over one on 28ct evenweave, I am just doing a tent stitch though so it's coming together quite quickly.

The second is a larger version of one of the patterns I posted a little while ago. I am using Nina's Threads on some linen I've had for a while.

I don't know if I'll be able to get much stitching done over the next few days, as I've got quite a lot of pain down neck, and right shoulder and elbow, which is a pity, because I'm really enjoying working on these two patterns.
