Retrogamebeurs Deurne - The Day

Yesterday was Retrogamebeurs day. It had snowed all night and in the morning we awoke to a beautiful blanket of snow. Unfortunately for us we had to drag three heavy suitcases of crafty and gaming goodies through the snow to the station – not an easy feat, let me tell you. The snow was so fluffy that as we dragged the cases along we ended up scooping the snow up behind us. After arriving in Deurne we still had to walk a little while to the event hall, and we wouldn't have been able to make it if it weren't for the kind gentleman who gave us and our cases a lift to the location.

Despite that unfortunate start we had a good day. I sold a fair amount of my craft items, and received a lot of positive feedback. We met many interesting people who I hope to hear from again.

My Pixelhobby keyrings and Hama bead items proved to be the most popular items on the day.

Retrogamebeurs Deurne

On the 24th of February I will be at the Retrogamebeurs (Retro Game Fair) in Deurne, selling some of my videogame handicrafts, as well as some retro gaming items.

Op 24 februarie zal ik aanwezig zijn op het Retrogamebeurs Deurne, waar in my gaming handwerken zal verkopen, en ook wat retro games.

Here's a preview of a few of the things I will be bringing along.

One week til Retrogamebeurs Deurne

Just one week left until Retrogamebeurs Deurne, where I will be selling some of my crafty things you've seen popping up over the last few weeks. I'm very excited and have been making final preperations: getting some photos printed for my portfolio, making sure I have some bags and change, etc.

Will I be seeing you there?

Don't forget, my boyfriend MegaWestgarth, will also be there, selling some of our gaming items.

Baby Pokemon biscornu

Remember the baby Pokemon biscornu I started well over a year ago? I had finished one side, but never got round to the other. Well, in a fit of finishing, I stitched up and completed it. I think it might be the cutest biscornu in existence.

My favourite is Chingling, who's yours?

Guile cushion cover

I had a lot of fun stitching up Guile from Street Fighter II. Making the cushion cover was terrifying though. I'm really happy with the results, and I hope someone else will like it too, as it will be available to buy at Retrogamebeurs Deurne on the 24th of February.
