A couple of other things I've recently added to my stash:
Those are from Nina's Threads, they are Blue Bunny and Cherry Cola. I don't know what I'm going to do with them yet, I just wanted to have them!
I got these off eBay from Dovestitch. They are samples of painted aida, and again, I don't know what I'm going to do with them.
I've had my tablet for a few weeks now. I haven't had much chance to play with it yet, but it feels good so far. It has a nice and quite natural feel to it when drawing, though it does take a bit of getting used to. The only bad thing about it is the position of the button on the pen that allows you to right-click, I usually end up accidentally holding down while drawing. I think for a beginners tablet it is a good buy as well, it cost me just under 60Euros.
Well, that's all for now. I hope my next update won't be so long from this one as this one was from the previous. In the new year my boyfriend and I will be moving into our own flat (closer to work), so I hope to have more time for cross stitching then.
Love reading your blog, thanks for the update, we understand you are really busy with work. What is it like over there? Do you have to speak the language where you are working? The aida and floss look lovely, lucky person :)
ReplyDeletePretty, pretty stash. :D
ReplyDeleteOoh, loving the new stash, I love thread colours with names. Best wishes to you.
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way with commenting. I'm just catching up now after a week of work! Those threads by Nina are gorgeous. I have always wanted to order some too, but I need to wait till next year. Those pieces of aida are lovely too! I'm sure you will find the right project to use them!!
