This is the project that comes with Cath Kidston's book Stitch!. I bought this book last year with an Amazon gift voucher I got for Christmas 2010. I absolutely love looking through all the projects and wish I could do some of them.
I was awarded the Liebster Blog award by both Fiona and Topcho. Thanks guys!
The rules:
1. Choose five up-and-coming blogs (with fewer than 200 followers) to award the Liebster to.
2. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
3. Post the award on your blog. List the bloggers you are giving the award to with links to their sites. Leave comments on their blogs so they know about the award.
4. Share five random facts about yourself that people don't know about you.
So, here we go:
1. Awardees:
- Karyn at A Riot Patch of Pixels
- Aurelia Eglantine at Eglantine Stitchery
- Emma at Emma's Stitches
- Reaper at The Stitching Reaper
- Sega MikeyDrive at Sega MikeyDrive
2. See the links above. Thank you Fiona and Topcho.
3. Well, that's that done.
4. Five facts:
- I like comic books. My favourite characters are Wolverine, Deadpool and Ultimate Spider-Man (I really don't like the other versions of Spider-Man) and my favourite writer is Brian Michael Bendis.
- I can't remember if I've mentioned this before on my blog, but I collect Game Boys. I have at least a dozen. Whenever I see one looking lonely at a flea market or car boot sale I just have to rescue it.
- Even though I am British, I grew up in the Netherlands, and have lived here longer than in the UK. I am pretty much fluent in Dutch, but I don't like speaking it much because it's not perfect anymore since I lived in the UK for seven years.
- I once got kicked in the bottom by a pony. Even though I was only bruised I couldn't walk properly for a while.
- I love professional wrestling and am really looking forward to WrestleMania. My boyfriend and I have even taken a day off to watch it.
Hi Emma, thank you so much for the Liebster Blog Award! Your link is in my blogpost about the award. (How can you get the links like you have? I've got the whole http:// thing and I don't want that...) Thanks again!
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteTo do the links as I've got them you need to either use the little hyperlink button in the text tools at the top of the text box if you are using the rich text mode for writing a post, or if you are using HTML mode you need to do [a href="URL"]Title[/a], but using the <> brackets instead of [].
Thanks for the help, it worked!
DeleteOh, this looks like and interesting project! Are you using soluble canvas? It's going to be very pretty!
